The founder of VIP International Homes is Shaun Ascough, a leading international property expert having operated at the very top end of agency since 1995.

Originally trained and qualified as a UK Accountant, Shaun has operated in top end agency since 1995 serving in a number of roles including Main Board Director of a UK & European search agency before setting up the Property Buyer's Advisory service of VIP International Homes in 2002.

Shaun has pioneered many innovative marketing solutions including the VIP International Property Marketing service which proactively markets clients prime properties for sale directly to International Ultra High Net Worth Property Buyers. 

Leading from the front, Shaun has personally overseen and managed the acquisition of many of the finest UK Country Homes & Estates for VIP clients since launch.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Having lived and worked in London and the UK country house market, in 2006, Shaun moved to Upper Constantia in Cape Town, South Africa where he bought a prime development opportunity situated in one of the highest valued areas of Cape Town. This property was then developed into a luxury 7 bedroom 850 m2 (8,500 ft2) home set over over 5 levels on the side of Table Mountain National Park for his family.

In 2012, Shaun sold this property "Leopard Rock" to the world’s largest bank (Chinese Bank "ICBC") through the VIP International Homes database of Ultra High Net Worth Property Buyers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since 2007, Shaun has also managed to invest considerable time & funds into a number of Social Enterprise & Social Investment Projects in the UK, Africa, USA and The Far East to help make a difference throughout the world. These have included being a Board Member of Living Hope International (www.LivingHope.co.za) to help raise awareness for this pan-African faith based make-a-difference organisation; Board Member & Investor of a Soccer Talent Search programme in partnership with a number of English Premier League clubs including Liverpool FC and Everton which utilised a 'Soccer Idols' type Reality TV show to find Soccer's Next Professional footballers; Owner/Founder of an African media & multi-platform format Development Company to help showcase Africa to the world; An Ambassador to Ambassadors Football (www.AmbassadorsFootball.org) to help raise support for their community and prison Soccer projects and as a Director of an elite Soccer Development Academy in Africa supported by a number of international footballers from the English Premier League.
